Hearts v Celtic ☘

In the year of our lord 2025 how Johnny Kenny is the starting striker for Celtic says an awful lot about the board. And to a certain extent BR. Not expecting a whole lot from this today. They seem to be big, strong physical lads with pace. Would gladly take a draw.

Be interesting to see how he gets on. He does seem to get a few chances with his running so I’m hopeful he’ll be ok. I know Ihneacho has been well received but I haven’t been overly impressed with him and think his lack of mobility has hurt us a bit.

We’ll likely see Shin at some stage too.

Ineacho reminds me of Robbie Keane in that he only really wants a ball that puts him in a position to score as opposed making a selfless run just to take pressure off the team . I think Kenny deserve a run in team at this point .

Up against it now. Murray panicked there.

Desperate start but both teams look very open at the back

Mmmcccgggrreeefggooorrrrr

Great move, good finish

Boom! More goals in this , so open

Hatate has been absolutely rank

This is a decent game so far.

Celtic miles off it for first few minutes but recovered really well and played excellently for the middle part of the half. More even again near the end.

I think Nygren is a bit unlucky with his chance. I think it’s blocked if he smashes it and he does the right think. It wasn’t just being tricky. He didn’t quite executed it though.

Both wingers not really tracking back. We’re a bit more solid on the left without Tounekti working hard but he still has to be a bit more hard working to stop crosses. Donovan having a hard time on his own on the right. Nygren not really tracking much in open play and Donovan isn’t getting close to the ball.

But the midfield has been good. We’ve been able to play through them a bit. Hatate sloppy and wasteful but our shape is good.

Would whip Hatate as well, way off it. Nygren an unlikeable sort. Brain fart from Murray

Donovan, Nygren, Engels take your pick

Stupid fucking tackle

Braga was going nowhere there. No need for Murray to dive in.

Murray has a leading role in all hearts goals

If Celtic find any rhythm they could get back into this , hearts very open too

Is this the year we finally see a non old firm title winner?
Early days yet I know

Is that Lithuanian nutcase who brought in Graham Rix and then a load of Russians gone from Hearts these days?

Dead i think.
