Anyone else doing this Sunday?
Going to Tipp?
You are more than welcome in North Tipp you smelly cunt, please do not go south of Thurles.
Nope, have a few mates down doing it though.
I used to wonder why it was called Hell and Back until I met half Gusserane GAA Club there last January.
Best of luck!

Did one of these before scrunchie. Good craic as a once off. My advice is get in the front of your wave and get off to a decent start or you’ll have a pain in your hole waiting at obstacles. And if you can, change into the earliest wave possible.
Am thinking of giving one of these a go when my knee is back to a 100%
I trust you just run through this…
I’d probably win it
Yeah, did it in the summer and found the queues detrimental to an otherwise record breaking time.
I’m in the first wave Sunday.
The Sugar Loaf mountain is by far the worst obstacle. Pain
You’d have some chance of getting over that wall
Why go over it when you can just go round it? Hup ta fuck…
Tough going. Glad I was out in first wave. Some young one broke her leg and there was a hold up on the course. There was also a lot of folk suffering from hypothermia as queues for obstacles got ridiculous later on in the day. Finished in about 1hr 50. Here is a profile of the course - a shade under 14km and just look at the first 5…
Well done, was thinking about trying this in the new year. The queue for obstacles would piss me off though. Would you recommend it? How fucked were you after it?
I wasn’t too affected with queues as I was out in the first group. Highly recommend it. Do it with a group of mates and pints after. Euphoric feeling when you finish
Fair play sport. Did they have the barbed wire muck thing again?
.
Did one of these today. First time. Hurt my ankle jumping off a barrier but made my way around. Enjoyable. Lots of camaraderie along the way. Queuing at obstacles became annoying and I imagine later In year it would be very cold. Going to bring the kids to do the kids one tomorrow.
