A couple of days off work and it was inevitable I’d be tinkering with the site.

Some changes are afoot, namely:

  1. Another lame attempt to recreate a front page to showcase all the terrific writing that appears on this site from time to time.

  2. That frontpage has a minimalist/content-first/readability-focussed look and feel. It’s rather attractive in my opinion.

  3. In order to keep the frontpage and the forum in closer visual synch I have a new skin for the forum, this one is called Kev. This is a minimalist skin with larger type and very few colours, should be very readable. I will make this the default skin but all older skins will still exist for the moment.

  4. This should all be live (complete with a plethora of errors) in a matter of minutes.

It definitely has a feeling of “Enlarged for the visually impaired” about it. You can change it, you know, by clicking on the ‘Kev’ option at the bottom left of you screen.

It’s fucking dynamite Rocko, you’re a solid legend. Could you remove/ban some cunts during this overhaul? Surely it’s possible to reject applicants from Roscommon prior to May 18th.
