Your information on the All Ireland Hurling Championship is a bit misleading. Only 11 counties had a chance of winning the All Ireland Hurling Championship in this given year of 2021. Out of those 11, 8 had won it since 1986. In that same timeframe, just 2 sides have won the League of Scotland.

Surely the name is misleading?
There’s a promotion and relegation system. Nothing to stop a county from coming all the way up from the Fourth Tier competition just like Glasgow Rangers did from the Fourth Tier of the League of Scotland.

I was reading ‘Dead Man’s Trousers’ this morning. Hibs beat the huns in the Scottish Cup final and Anthony Stokes scores a brace. The celebrations between sick boy, rents, spud and Beggers made for great reading.

Disappointing from a Celtic point of view that Aberdeen couldn’t hold on to all three points at Ibrox but you couldn’t complain about the penalty decision.
That looks fairly clearcut alright. Bad defending from the Aberdeen defender to get the wrong side.
