I think @Bandage makes a good point on Starfelt and how awkward he was taking the ball on his left side last night. The second half issues stemmed from Hibs pressing us harder and higher up the pitch. I thought Starfelt defended reasonably well last night but he was poor on the ball. Wonder would it be worth him and CCV swapping sides.
Ideally we could do with a left sided centre half though.
Clearly Shaw, Urhoghide, Scales, Soro and Ajeti are not in the picture at the minute so loan moves would be best for all concerned come January.
We could do with
CM x2
Versatile attacker (Maeda)
Left sided centre half
I’d go with what we have at LB until the end of the season - Taylor and Bolingoli will effectively be playing for their futures.
Not much value looking elsewhere for a winner anyway. The League of Scotland has been won by the team playing out of Ibrox or Celtic Park in each of the last 36 seasons.
Not a great analogy really. Tipperary is the county which has the most borders with other counties - 8 in total. Wexford are one of the 8 counties who have won an All Ireland since 1986 and it doesn’t border Tipperary. Tipperary, it’s 8 bordering counties and Wexford make up nearly a third of the 32 counties on the island.
There’s 42 teams across the four leagues in Scotland and since 1986 only the sides playing out of Ibrox and Celtic Park have won it.
Slight hamstring tweak, confirmed by Ange post-match, and exclusively revealed by me at half time on this thread last night. Hopefully he pulled up before really aggravating it but I’d say he’ll be out for a couple of weeks. He’ll probably miss this weekend but will hopefully be ready after the international break.
Who’s saying anything about the 1960’s? I pointed out to @Ashman that just two sides have won the last 36 league titles in Scotland since Aberdeen in 1984/85. You went off on some bizarre tangent, which I’m presuming is about lack of competitiveness in hurling relating to Tiperary and bordering counties. I pointed out that 8 different counties have won the Hurling All Ireland Championship since 1986, including Wexford which doesn’t border Tipperary.
