Agriturismo Bonsai?

Nope but I just found it, it’s just down the road from Bonsai

You weren’t wrong. Walked from Piazza San Pietro along the river, then over to Piazza Navona and on to the Trevi Fountain and from there down to the Coliseum and Roman Forum. Spent the evening doing the tour down there. There was mental queues for the Vatican Museum and St Peters. Will try to get in there early in the morning.

Better off doing a guided tour of the Vatican, no queues.

Yeah. Booked it with Viator

Okay guys @Fran seems to have gone on his own holiday without providing me with a full Sicily itinerary. My own departure date is fast approaching and I’ve nothing booked apart from flights. I’m flying into Palermo and will be in Sicily for a week and want to travel around the island a bit. Could a few of you fill in the gaps for me please?

Would you like us to pack your bags for you as well?

Yes please.

I think you’re flying in close to the region I was a few years ago mate. I posted above to you or another poster that I recommended going to Scopello and surrounds. Castellamare Del golfo is another nice spot in the area. Rent a car if your life partner is able to drive, taxis aren’t easily available and have to be booked in advance.

You said the other day that you’re a man. Take control of the situation. Own that holiday.

Yesterday’s Sunday times had a feature on Palermo and Sicily. Pick that up

Are you going to make the significant other an offer she can refuse?

I take it your looking for sicilian bus timetables here but are too shy to ask?

2 nights booked in Palermo. :brendan:

That’s enough to get started.

Barcelona… yay or nay?

For honeymoon? Nay. For partying? Absolutely.

Option A.

She’s pretty keen, am I fucked?

Alghero is a fantastic spot. The Giro kicked off from here last week and the place is festooned in pink, looks a treat even to my roaster eyes. Weather is perfect, a solid 24° on average. Went up to Stintino today (cc @Fran) , a grand little spot, stopped off in a few places to take a dip on the way up. May is still off-season here so very handy get about the place. Food is top-notch too, the porchetta in particular deserves several entries in the Ravenous thread.

Ah no it’s a great city mate but I just go there to party. Stay out beside the beach if you’re going. Plenty of wholesome activities to do but it is hotter than hell walking around there in the summer which might not suit your albino head. I’ll dig out some apartment choices near the beach if you’re interested. Take her for a romantic nighttime stroll down la ramblas and pick out your favourite west African prostitute.
