Okay guys not sure if I’ve mentioned my upcoming vacation in Sicily. It’s getting close to departure date and I still just have the first 2 (two) nights in Palermo booked. Need to fill in the next 5 (five) nights before flying from Catania to Malta.
Someone prepare a little road trip taking in the main places / things to see and do on the island please. We’ll rent a car so public transport isn’t a concern.
I already told you, stop looking for attention.

I took a boat trip to Lipari. That would fill a day. You could go to Taormina/Naxis. Take the train up Mt Etna. Go to Syracusa.
Did you get anyway near Mount Etna?

@Balbec, thanks for advice. Would you recommend basing yourself in 1 (one) or maybe 2 (two) places during the week and taking a series of day trips? Or would it be better to move on from Palermo after the first couple of nights and stay overnight in these different places along the way?
We stayed in Naxos and used it as a base to go to Taormina, Etna and Syracusa. It’s also close enough to Catania.
