View from Upper Piltown across the Blackwater to Youghal. A beautiful evening here.

A longtime goal of mine fulfilled today - just like with work I make sure my goals are modest and deliverable without the need for any great effort. My photos sadly don’t do it justice, Malin is a beautiful part of the world. Stopped at the Famine Village museum too, a grand couple of hours put in there.

Did anyone ever do that Priest’s Leap drive in West Cork? Highest mountain pass in Ireland

Yes. Brilliant thing to do. Not for a nervous driver. Better coming from the Kerry side.

I did it half-dying coming back from a stag once. Wasn’t long straightening myself :hushed:

You were unlikely to meet the shades at least

And a trip to the fabled Rock of Dunamase

The heritage museum between castlebar and Westport is worth a look. Decent facilities. I found it interesting enough.

Kilkee looked busy last night :flushed::see_no_evil:

Brilliant, a load of pricks like Brendan on Facebook are going apeshit, I hope there is 20,000 there tonight, time to bring this cod to an end

They won’t let young people into the pub sure what else will they do

Let’s all stay away from Clare.

I’m surprised some videos haven’t been posted. Perhaps they’re on another thread I couldn’t find.

Fianna Fáil’s Cillian Murphy said he had been living in the town for over 30 years and “cannot ever remember this sort of behaviour on anything like this scale before”.

He must have been away when they used have Cois Fharraige on there.

The August weekend was always notorious for the travellers. You’d stay well away from around the Central if you had any sense.

You’d have assumed it would be quieter with the pubs closed.

On my way to Kerry here for my holidays, the wife is driving.
