Sensational spot. Spent dozens of summer days there as a kid diving off the pier. The gardens are amazing

Was threatened by teenagers with assault via “skeans” when I was underage drinking in Roundstone.
Unless The Eccles has undergone a lot of renovation in the last few years, I’d respectfully disagree with you. My wife and I stayed in it a few years ago and it was an absolute shithole. Run down, dirty, drab and dreary with uninterested staff.
