Holidays in Ireland thread (Laois is for prisoners)

What’s to do up Lahinch way for a large group with kids?

The Islands are one option, inisoirr, but there’s little on them for smallies …

Surf school

Surfing is a bit ghey - I dont want that wasters activity inflicted on my daughter.

Thanks tho… I might just go to inis oirr and rent a bike

Surf school is a load of nonsense. Buy a couple of boogie boards and off you go.

Ailwee Caves and birds of prey show.

Donkey farm.

Rock pools/jump from rocks into ocean at clahane. Time for when high tide is starting to go out if with smallies so not too much height.

@Massey right @Thomas_Brady 40 notes in surf shop there and will take you and little one at same time. Right craic

Birds of prey show would be lost on a 1 year old. It’s steep enough for what it is as well as they only show you 2 birds.

Moher farm is excellent. Bit of walking in it but you’d knock a few hours out of it handy enough with feeding the animals etc.

Didn’t realise child was 1. Could get money’s worth while simultaneously improving reflexes, dexterity and agility of child by entering it as bait for said show

This is it exactly, good riddance to the idiot.

I hope he continues to tell people what a great country Ireland is while he’s on holiday.

Kids range from 1 to 15 … fuck em, they’re going to Inis Oirr cycling - ag rothaiocht !

He’s on about 10 different boards Ryanair etc.Talk about jobs for the boys.

Place needed a wee drop of rain anyhow

Weather tends to be significantly better in the south than in Connemara.

Nearly posted this in the things that are right thread, but my other sister arrived home there on Sunday and said she’d take the kids for the day. After a full Irish on the prom, and a swim in Blackrock, she spent the afternoon with them backing greyhounds and an odd horse.
They lost all their money and said it was “the best day ever” :slightly_smiling_face:

They must have been following the same tipster who’s advice I occasionally stumble across.
