Checkpoint on N11 at Bray earlier. And on Leeson St.
No harm to warn lads of anticipatory behaviour.
I believe Donegal is emptying into Derry as I type this.

What hotel?

Don’t forget to call into @anon67715551 On the way back,he’ll give you a fill of red diesel for the trip home
I stayed in the Cavan Crystal there during the week. Nice grub and pintd
It’s top shot, you won’t be disappointed. That oul’ tale about them being mane bastards is all a cod…
Took a scoot back to middle of Iveragh Peninsula this week. Ballaghasheen is probably one of the lesser known mountain passes, it’s not too pressing at 315m high. You can approach it from a few points along the Ring of Kerry, I went at it from
the Waterville side, although you can also access it from Killarney or Killorglin. Some great views of the Reeks, it’s incredibly barren and raw. Lovely stuff. Would be smashing with a clear blue sky.
Have a week booked in Sneem in August, looking forward to exploring that part of the world west of Carrauntoohil as I haven’t been down that way too much. Will squeeze in a bit of the Beara peninsula too I’m sure.
Lads I know reckon Niall Tobin has single handedly destroyed the reputation of Cavan. Sean Quinn wouldn’t have had a stranglehold on economic activity in the area if they weren’t all viewed with suspicion. “Shure you can invest there with them mane bastards”
Beara Peninsula is very underrated. Did it end of Feb 2020 before everything went to shit. Would recommend Priest’s Leap & Healy Pass if you’re looking for challenging mountain passes. I didn’t get to the see the Italian Gardens on Garnish Island but the mother has & she loved it. Bullig Bay looped walk outside Castletownbeare is as scenic as any in the country. It starts at O’Sullivan Beare’s castle ruins and meanders on for just under 3 miles. Dursey Island is another must see, the cable car trip is well worth it if it’s operating. Lovely colourful villages like Eyeries and the copper beach at Allihies. Jolly good peninsula all in all.
Pricing hotels for a weekend in late June/early July. Mother a gawd.
A good hotel in Dublin literally half the price of average hotels in Cork and Galway.
I got the Harbour Hotel in Galway for €662 for 2 people for 4 nights the second week of August. Booked it a few months ago when Varadkar basically said he’ll be off on his holidays in August.
You can forget about the summer if you’re only looking at hotels at this stage.
You might get an OK deal in the Absolut or somewhere like that.
Have a few days away for the family already booked in Westport in August.
This is just a night away with some food and drink.
Have the same booked for September, and a week in Sneem booked for August. We’ll get a meaningful summer in fairness.
Being up a bag of charcoal and I’ve a bed there for you in the nation’s capital
Go to Dublin. I went up there during the summer last year had a five star hotel pretty much to ourselves. Zero hassle booking resteraunts etc

I’d agree with this. Dublin is a grand spot for a night away.
Happy to see this now. After booking Bantry for June Bank Holiday.
