Is there any where in Ireland that sells quality horse meat for consumption?? I’ve had horse burger before and they sell delicious smoked horse-meat in Holland … is the web my best bet? - I’d like to try a horse steak - far leaner and healthier meat than cow

I’ve no doubt a lot of their meat contains horse but i’d like to try a legit horse steak — I think it’s time we moved on from beef which is not good for you or the planet.
And are horses better for the planet?

Horse steak contains about 0.5gs of fat - while the same cut in a cow could be up to 8% fat
They should form a link with Gordon Elliot. Only a short step from ‘running-your-horses-into-the-ground’ to ‘running-your-horses-into-ground-mince’.

Horse burger is delicious…id highly recommend it.
I lived in China mate. There’s barely an animal I haven’t tried.
