Bitton cost us that game almost single handedly. Not letting everyone else off the hook but that was a ridiculous decision to foul him so clearly in that position. He has that in his game, he did a stupid push in the box on Wednesday too when the game was in the balance. Completely changed the game.
I do think we surrendered the initiative to them too meekly after the card. I understand the need to regroup and the change of formation was required but we stopped putting them under pressure up the park and let them get their confidence.
Still wasn’t a free kick before the goal but ultimately we surrendered all the initiative ourselves through a stupid grab from Bitton. It doesn’t even matter if it wasn’t the most clear cut red card ever. It was the most clear cut foul you can imagine in an area where the foul was clearly going to be more costly than any chance that might be created. A lazy, gutless decision that cost us the game.

Was surprised at Christie - it was to go to that 3/4 at the back hybrid but Elhamed isn’t close to being good enough.
Soro hadn’t really done much in the second half and was on a yellow.

It was the decision of a man who had built up the importance of stopping morales scoring above all else far too much in his own head.
The one massive relief for every celtic person is there was no crowd there today. Imagine the crowing.
That’s no great achievement.
