Personally I thought it was a yellow but Bitton stupidly gave Madden a decision to make. Morelos still had plenty to do. Fuck him.
Celtic will regret not scoring when on top in the first half. They played very well in that period. McGregor kept Rangers in it.
I’d actually love to hear who McCoist rates higher - McGregor or Goram

Lennon got the team selection and tactics spot on today. That was a very good Celtic display undermined by a crazy decision by Bitton. That said, I thought it was a borderline yellow/red. There was a curve on the ball taking it towards the goal and I don’t think it was going straight to the end line. So I can see how an orange bastard referee would be gagging to take out the red card, they don’t need much of an invitation.
Need to take chances when on top though. The huns were rope a dope, as @Bisto said. I thought they looked nervous, flat and leggy. A huge win for them in the circumstances because the doubts would have started creeping in again. The result was all that mattered today and they have the huge lead now.
I thought Ajer was brilliant btw.

Lennon lost today, has lost the league by the first game in January, which is a remarkable effort really, and has been knocked out of two European competitions by part time Finnish electricians, all in four months.
He is fielding a jaded disinterested team, with their main striker playing with less interest than pogba.
He has lost just about every game of note this season.
Tis all the wan now anyway.
Celtic still had time to grab an equaliser with 28 mins left. But that opportunity was thrown away with Lennon’s substitutions. The cunt just panicked.

Yes, the fact that a game on January 2 has sealed Celtic’s fate in terms of the league is on Lennon and the board. It’s absolutely scandalous, as 9-in-row champions and with huge financial resources comparatively, they’ve allowed the huns to catch and overtake them through a mixture of complacency and lack of ambition. Today, however, Celtic were dominant until Bitton was sent off. It doesn’t give Lennon a pass though, because we shouldn’t have been in the position where a loss at New Year tamely hands them the title.
Lennon has turned the corner. We won the first 45 minutes and a moral victory.

That is the sickener. Gerrard looked clueless. They didn’t look like finding a way into the game. Leaving Morelos instead of Roofe was the wrong call at half time.
But then a stupid fucking cowardly effort from Bitton gives them the initiative and the answer to their dilemma.
