Hurling 15 for 30

Is it Ben or Jerry that was only half as good as the other? I can never remember.

Jerry. Ben was a top class forward for a decade and as good a player to pick a ball at pace as has played the game. Jerry has about three good seasons and seems to be hugely overrated for some reason

No Tony no party

90 onwards? Unless you mean Regan

You’d never see the Tipp crowd call out a Cork selection tho - The snobbery between those two towards the rest of Munster is something else.

Gway boy…

The Limerick lads are picking the 2018 team ffs.

BIAT has a lovely team, a good share of them before your time I suppose.

Didn’t realise we were calling out personal selections?
Donal and Sean Og unlucky to miss out, Brian Murphy could have been there but I had to make space for Corcoran and Curran and couldn’t include Corcoran as a forward, it would be much harder to pick a 40 year team,

The Limerick boys are picking a mix of the 90s team and the team that landed the AI - and why wouldnt they?? Any Limerick team that wins two leagues, a Munster and an AI, given our history, will be rightly highly regarded. I’ve seen most of @backinatracksuit’s team in the flesh multiple times, bar Cashman and Cunnigham and Sull. - this isn’t the first, or second, Cork lady i’ve been with-

:joy:.

I take it back, got my years mixed up

I’d have Sean O’Gorman in the FB line and move Corcoran to 6. Timmy McCarthy for Harnedy.

Good team but I’d have Donal og in. It’s a reflection of the current team and teams since 12/13 that there is very little representation.

Seanie Gorman or Timmy Mc were never seriously considered

The lads with AI medals in their back pockets are going to sway close calls @Fat_Pox
Cunningham was better at everything than Donal Og, he was playing the way he was told, if you asked him to land a ball on a sixpence 50 yards from goal fota puck out it’d have been a piece of piss, Donal og was close but not quite there for me

Cunningham the ball of shite ahead of Donal Og

Harnedy is underrated. Consistently one of the top players, and top leaders on a team, of the last good few years.

I always thought so too. However the Cork losses of recent years have made me reevaluate that. He was poor vs Limerick and KK on the day he was needed most.

Cha :joy:

Sum ting wong.

Maybe, just maybe Peter Casey could be in on what he was doing before the bad injury, but there’s nobody to take out really there. They all have as much hurling and are bigger and/or faster men, with more done. That’s a fair team.

If he caught back that form and put a few years back-to-back, he could have the standing of an Eddie Brennan maybe.

Cha from 2006-2008 was as close to the perfect midfielder who has ever played the game imo.

Obviously he’s no Willie Dunphy but steady on
