Barrett for young hurler
Hogan for HOTY

undecided at 6, and cork will prob get one for Munster title.
Second midfield up for grabs too. Canā€™t see chin getting it, or being close.
And corner forward too. Went for Power after his 2 final appearances.[/QUOTE]
Which Maher at wing back?

Brendan. Paudie spent most of the season wallowing at full back

Didnā€™t think Brendan Maher was good this year at all really, think Bergin was better

All stars are as much about name and perception. Mine was what I think will happen, not who Iā€™d pick myself.

I missed a number of games this year due to my own Gaa and golf commitment so I wonā€™t be posting a team but that is a very sound team from what I saw. All three of Hickey, Barrett and Murphy deserve to be accommodated while it hasnā€™t been a vintage year for half backs

Excellent team. Brendan Maher seems to be an automatic on most teams. I donā€™t think he has yet reached his pre-injury levels. He nearly beat Kilkenny on his own in 2010 first half and got the better of Henry in 2009. Moving him out of centre back kick started Tippā€™s year. Iā€™d have Paudie ahead of him this year. had his issues at full back but showed great leadership at times, something this Tipp team isnā€™t laden down with. I missed one or two of Corkā€™s games so havenā€™t seen enough of Ellis.

Bog ball outā€¦ Not long now till the big one and Iā€™m a nervous wreckā€¦ Please get your final selection in ASAP.

My selection is Post #209 on Page 11 of this thread and Iā€™m sticking with it although the 2nd midfield position is a lottery between Chin, Fogarty, James Ryan and Browne.

Surprised this thread hasnā€™t been bumpedā€¦ two for Limerick:cool:

Enjoy

And none for cork

Went pretty much how I thought. I was undecided at 6 and thought cork would be given a token one. McGrath Iā€™m not surprised by, and same with Fennelly in for Power. I think the other 12 were never in doubt.

Barrett deservedly wins young hurler of the year.

Really? Give us his stats\ outstanding performancesā€¦
