Hurling Championship 2020 - The Year Limerick Blitzed

Cody has named dummy teams loads of times before.

Is Richie Leahy injured?

Advantage Waterford

True but it’d be a risky move leaving a good defender on the bench.

Fennelly is due a big one too.

It’s not a dummy team when Cody does it.

Tbf Wally & Fennelly were far from impressive the last day and Richie obviously was class. If their training form was similar, it’s not that much of a surprise.

Most teams, apart from Limerick, wouldn’t have a defender good enough to come in and mark Richie Hogan sitting in reserve.

He’s named dummy teams in the past 4 years since they’ve returned to the pack. He didn’t need to before that.

That fella had too much time on his hands to be thinking

:+1::+1::+1:

He played full club matches this year. He played absolutely out of his skin in the relegation final. He got injured and Danesfort lost but he was superb

In all honesty, unless the attacker is also very strong in the air, the main thing a defender needs is pace. If a defender is quick enough, and switched on enough, they can greatly reduce the effect of any attacker over twenty minutes or so. If the attacker is brutally strong and tall, it’s much less easy. The defender would have one task only, and not be involved in any productive or tactical role.

How is “leahy” pronounced in kk btw?
That cretin ger canning always calls him lah -hee.
In Galway it would be pronounced lee-hee.
I note Cannings incorrect pronunciation of Door-hee Burke which he still insists upon.

I say Lee-hee but most people do say Lah-hee

Best part of that video is the Limerick fan in Hill 16, 38 seconds in, jumping up celebrating when Cummins had to bend and pick it out of the net. Fuck Tipp

Galway would always be lee-hee, certainly the city.

"The poor record of Munster champions at All-Ireland level is well known at this stage, with the double being completed just once in the last decade.

Indeed, only four times in the last 13 seasons has the Munster champion gone on to compete in the All-Ireland final."

I thought he missed the Relegation final, came on as sub toward the end.

It was the 1st round agin Vegas he gave the wan man show performance, think he got 10 from play.
Then got injured toward the end and Mulinavat did just enough to claw back a draw and extra time. Mulinavat walked all over them in ET.
