Yes, undisciplined. If he’d been born in any other hurling county and maybe particularly KK that would have been drilled out of him. In many ways a wasted talent.

There are plenty of hot heads in every county. No guarentee

But he was a superb talent. He’d have hurled Eoin McGrath up a stick just for one example and he had a wee flash in him too

Not having an Antrim player is the only slight on this alright.

I’d put forward that Kilkenny might have been the worst county for him in that the attitude would not be placated in any way and would have seen him drift at an earlier point.
Plenty high profile examples who were not indulged, Carter, McEvoy, Cha. Even more lesser lights who took the high road. I’d wager unfortunately he would have been one of the latter.

Didn’t Watson have an awful bake against John Gardiner. Reddened him physically and mentally one time. Have I the right two players

Correct. He gave an awful idiot interview years later that included an account of that incident. Cadogan was flaking him 'cos Watson was destroying him. ""I (Watson) said to him (Cadogan) ‘Do you know who I am?’ “” and then let him have it.

No Camogie players listed, real oppurtunity lost to further promote the TFK Memorandum of association on Gender Equality and commitment that as a minimum 25% of the top hurlers in the country will be women by 2021.
