Hurling is the greatest game in the world

nope, when the landlords realised that a game of hurling would neuter any nationalist tendencies of their peasants they organised it for them. The Golden age of Hurling its called

Rightā€¦ yet the GAA was one of the biggest proponents of the nationalist cause ?? What were the landlords at ?

And the 1990s was the golden age of hurling, mate.

The 90ā€™s was a golden age in both codeā€™s buddy with provincial and national titles shares among many teams unlike the stuff we see today

Where the fuck are you finding the patience, mate?

I can go on for years, mateā€¦Weā€™ve been battling these lads for over 800 years as it is.

One of the finest hurlers to ever play the game was of Connemara stock. John Connolly, a true stylist of the ancient game of the fior ghaels, was born in Leitir MĆ³r. It was only when his family moved from the craggy ground that he got the chance to excel.

Donā€™t forget the greatest of them all. Nicky ENGLISH.

Clubs have been getting terrible tickets for years in KK, chipp too have been stung similarly Iā€™m led to believe. Lads get better ones by sourcing them outside the clubs.

Glanbia get the pick of the Kilkenny tickets

Hurling is played in all 32 counties mate. The fact the elite counties are so far in front due to agricultural advantage is irrelevant. Only 31 counties play fistball, and half the playing population are in your shithole of a county.

You will never understand hurling in much the same way you will never understand anything Irish.

Completely incorrect.

Cavan do not have a hurling team.

You obviously missed the news Chef, there is no Connacht or Ulster championship in stick hurling any more.

Only half a county in Connacht play it and alongside the only county in Ulster that is arsed, they play in the Leinster championship with the handful of counties in that province that bother with stick hurling.

Itā€™s a total joke shop.

its an obscure bespoke tipperary sport

Galway, Kilkenny, Wexford and Cork are the historic strongholds of the game.
