Came across as a âtrue hurling manâ caricature when Parkinson correctly said that Kilkenny were pushing an agenda to suit themselves and that there was dirt in the 2009 and 2010 All-Ireland finals, in response to Reganâs rant about Pat McEneaney âinterferingâ in hurling.

Itâs mad how a current manager like Cody has been allowed on the rules committee for hurling. If Fergie had been on such a committee across the water thereâd be obvious accusations of bias, influence, conflict of interest etc.
Of course as soon as Cody came out against the cards in hurling Liam OâNeill ran immediately to his defence and promised a full debate on the issue when a swift âfuck off, the rules are fine the way they are when implementedâ would have sufficed.
