Hurling League 2014

Darragh Maloney on RTE Radio One talking about Dublin finding it difficult to experiment in the league because of their small pick compared to other counties. What is he smoking?

That’s hilarious.

didn’t hear it Bandage. What he might have meant is that the panel is a bit threadbare?? I doubt he meant it as it sounded ? surely!

I think Dublin are in danger of becoming a bit stagnant. Keaney, Dotsy, Hiney in their 30s. Maguire, Carton and a few others around a while now too. They need a few of the all Ireland minor final teams to make an impact and a class forward to come off that team. Problem is 3 of those class forwards - Kilkenny, Costello and O’Congaile are with the footballers

a lot of seagulls in pearse stadium, salthill

That’s called a flock mate.

Yeah there seems to be a misguided view among some people that Dublin are a young team when they aren’t, really. Certainly six or seven of the team that lost to Cork are in or around the 30 mark.

The camera didn’t show Keaney’s second yellow clearly. The Galway lad seemed to get a belt though and when already on a yellow…

Fairly happy with that performance given the players that were absent and the referee gave everything to Clare.

Take your beating, you might want too look at the tommy Walsh “yellow” a little more closely. Heavy underfoot condition and slower hurling suited Kk today and ye still couldn’t close it out

Ye really needed to beat KK to make your All-Ireland seem credible, it’s a pity for ye that it was such a weak KK team

Which of the AIs are you referring to?

Yeah , that’s even weaker that the ref bate us

I’m feeling satisfied with my prediction of Galway and Limerick as my two against the field this year.

What all-Ireland do you think I was talking about, are you thick or something?

The normally mild mannered @Fran is taking the demise of Kilkenny rather badly here.

Limerick will be hard bet.

:frowning:

Today was the nail in the coffin
