He hasnât played a game. Butler the only outside man on the team. Playing very well by all accounts.
Did Carlow go a portion of the league without the MLRangers contingent? But I imagine they would have been back for the final.
Will Kerry give Offaly a good rattle?
Kerry went through the league unbeaten. Beat Carlow twice. Once without Mount Leinster Rangers contingent and once with. Kerry have very good forwards for the level they are at. Might not be good enough at the back to hold out Dooley, Bergin, Carroll though. Still if Carlow won today people would give them a chance so who knows. Be great if Kerry had home advantage but I imagine its neutral venue
Would be great if Kerry won. Youâd have all 6 Munster counties in the upper echelons of the league. And only 4 Leinster counties.
Hon da Kingdom.
Is Willie OâDwyer still involved?
He played all 2013 with Kerry. havenât seen him feature to date this year. Butler is the only outsider featuring. There was mention of some other lads including John OâKeefe from Tipp but they havenât featured yet. I would rather it stayed that way. 1 or 2 outsiders is enough.
yep bandage. Tipp man Eamon Kelly has Kerry in great shape and form. U d never know!
Shane Nolan, the Boyles, Daniel Collins , Tadhg Flynn and David Butler ( tipp) are good hurlers who will not be overawed in Offalyâs company
Would be great if they won deserve to go up - in saying that Iâd expect an Offaly win by 5-6. Kerry definitely have the forwards for 1B. Interesting to see there is another Brick playing for the Kerry Minors tomorrow night.
In saying all of that, I donât think Kerry should be playing in Munster, Senior or Minor yet. Your Minors will lose by 20 points plus tomorrow night, no reason for it.

That Brick is a cousin of the more famous other lads, although his dad Ian used to play with Kerry as well and manages the minor team.
Kerry in current form should win the Christy Ring comfortably, but then what do they do? They decided not to go up the last time they won it and even though they seem a better team now there still doesnât seem much point in going up.
The Christy Ring winners get a token game in the Championship this year which is probably the best of both worlds for them.
Very hard to bridge that gap, I suppose that is the benefit of the minors being back in the Munster Minor Championship, hopefully they donât get hockeyed.

Anything to be said for their Minors stepping into the Leinster Championship? Always found it odd Antrim didnt take the chance to do so when their seniors came in. Thereâs a tiered system there they could compete in that might help them at minor level at least. Logistically it might be difficult, but more needs to be done to help counties like Kerry who are trying their damnedest to bridge the gap.
Incidentally, how Kerry were left out of the (albeit paltry) funding scheme announced by Liam O Neill at Congress baffled me greatly.

No âtraditionâ MBB. Which is bullshit considering they won the first ever hurling AI. They are happier to throw money at counties which arenât bothering their bollox, but used to be good.
They already play in the Minor B championship which drags them all over anyway so it wouldnât be that hard for them. The real solution of course is an open draw style format, but we arenât any nearer that.

Probably would be the best thing, then they could go do a round robin with Westmeath, Meath, Kildare etc. In truth though, people will argue that if they can go into Leinster they can go into Munster, even though they have no chance at presence against anyone in Munster.
Yes, Antrim, Galway and Kerry should be in Leinster. Ridiculous that the former two arenât as of right now. They could put Galway straight in, and have Antrim, Kerry, Westmeath, Kildare, Meath and one more play each other across two groups, the two winners going into the championship proper.
Huh?
Talking about Minor I think.
