Tipperary and Waterford are proven championship teams and are out ahead of the rest in Munster. Limerick, Clare and Cork will scrap it out for the other qualification spot.

What exactly have Waterford proven? 2017 was their best year for a decade, getting to an AI final. They beat Wexford and Cork in the only matches that mattered last year, hardly earth shattering.

Thereâs no one bigging them up â they are a good team and have grown year on year â Limerick still have a lot to prove. End of.
They were semi finalists in 2015 and 2016 . That is much better pedigree than Lk , Ce or Cork .
Is this the limerick thread? Itâs bullshit to suggest that everybody is playing for third, clearly Waterford are hugely overrated here

Waterford imo are very vulnerable this year. This lark of not bothering with the league is highly suspect, as if you can just turn on a tap come championship and hit full stride. By and large, teams that hit the ground running in the spring keep up their momentum for the year, Kilkenny and Tipp have been doing that for the past decade.
You wouldnât see Cody writing off the league.
