Missing Bubbles and Callanan. Ronan Maher being played out of position. A lot of the new lads getting chances I just never really rated tbh
Bubbles has been useless for two years now and callanan is a massive bottler. Limerick will beat tipp next week down in that kip thurles.
Hopefully
Limerick will make a holy show of tipp on Easter Sunday.
Sunday ? What are they playing Sunday
The Dubs had 0-10 on the board after 11 mins. They managed the same amount in the next 67 minutes (including injury time). Pitiful.
Couldnât believe how bad they were against us in the group stage of the league. No bite or energy or willingness to even just get stuck in. Just had a general air of âwell we are missing the Cuala lads so whatâs the point of trying.â Same today. Physically way behind and touch terrible.
Ger Cunningham seems to have set them back years.
Limerick supporters like ourselves are good judges of bottlers
Limericks biggest test so far this year. If they play in the first twenty like they did against Galway and Clare, itâll be curtains by half time
I find it difficult to see beyond a Galway-Tipperary All-Ireland final.
Michael Ryan is an outstanding manager who is always immediately impressive when interviewed. He appears to operate with a firm but fair hand in a county in which it is more difficult than most to run a tight ship. He handled the Cathal Barrett situation last year in the correct way and the long term benefits of that should become apparent this year. Iâd confidently speculate that Ryan has a considerably higher IQ than any other current inter-county hurling manager.
While I like Derek McGrath, Waterford are going to be screwed by playing their four Munster matches at four different venues. I see real similarities between McGrath and Stephen Rochford. It appears to me that both may well be burned out by agonising defeats over the last couple of years and have returned this year against their better judgement.
That tweet has since been deleted.
What one bud?
The one about the match being in Thurles next Saturday.
Although it was at Leitrimâs expense, it was great to see former porn star Greg Jacobs career has come full circle as he lifted the Div 3B title for his beloved Lancashire.
Where did it all go wrongs Greg?
I think itâs nailed on Tipp - Galway ⌠Obviously depending on if they avoid each other along the way. But panel wise and on form they are the best two teams in the country.
Be very interesting to see how Wexford go this yearâŚWill it be a case of burn out from the 200 sessions in January and February or have they tailored it to ease off again and peak again around July.
Realistically, 1/4 final is where Limerick are looking at. Anything beyond is bonus territory.
Itâs quite easy to foresee a situation in Leinster where Galway, Kilkenny and Wexford all end up on three wins and the provincial final places are decided on scoring difference.
Nevertheless I expect Galway to come through as Leinster winners.
Tipperary should do likewise in Munster.
The two remaining semi-final places could easily be filled by any two of six teams.
I would have a good bet on Tipperary winning it and having spent the last year working there I have kind of softened towards them. A nice old shower in fairness in the main. You get gobshites in every county and normally due to being fueled up on match day. I think Tipperary are good. Galway a very close second. The rest are in a bunch behind.
Tipperary are the best team in Ireland in my opinion. Theyâre the only team in the country Wexford have a losing record against since Davy Fitzgerald took over. Iâd like to get another crack at Tipp in the league as I thought we had closed the gap on them in Thurles last month since last season, albeit weâre now 0-2 against them. Itâd be nice to have another go at setting up and trying to impose ourselves on them though. A dry run for a probable All Ireland semi-final or final meeting in essence.
There will be no stopping Wexford this year after that demolition of the hungover 14 man All Ireland champions. Nice to see @Bandage being humble and realistic about their chances this year.
