Limerick are coming for Tipp this year.
Tipp havenāt 3 consecutive championship wins over Limerick since way back in 2004.
I reckon we will get a bit of a trimming Saturday ā¦ 7/8 points ā¦ but we will take the bastards come May.

Any level headed person can clearly see from selections so far that Mick Church is checking the gene pool in the League.
If he picks a similar team for Saturday evening as started against Dublin, then Limerick have a real chance.
Sean Curran is the only player he has picked to start all league games to date.
Iād expect a few more rolls of the dice from Church for Saturday. Another few lads will get a try out
Tipp are basically back boned by that 2010 all ireland hurling under 21 team. Who are mostly 28/29 now. 3 Mahers, James Barry, Callanan and Noel McGrath are still the core of their team. 5 of those started the 2010 final, all of them started the final win in 2016 and the semi final last year to Galway. In fact 14 of 15 that won the all ireland in 2016 started again v Galway last year. Only for cathal barrett theyād have had zero changes. They badly need to find 3/4 new players to freshen up their side and to regain the all ireland again imo. One all ireland for that group is a massive underachievement so the pressure is on.
Iām not sure why tipp are so indifferent about the league. They maybe trying out lots of lads but it isnāt worth a fuck if they donāt find at least two or three championship starters at a minimum.
One all Ireland per group has been the Tipp standard since 1965 mate.

We topped the league and came through the quarter final handy mate while trying out absolutely loads of players some of whom will start in Championship
