All planned fixtures on TG4 here. Looks like Clare Tipp is on live.

Apart from the keeper, that’s a strong Waterford team

1.Ian O’Regan
2.Conor Gleeson
3.Barry Coughlan
4.Shane McNulty
5.Tadhg de Burca
6.Austin Gleeson
7.Philip Mahony
8.Jamie Barron
9.Darragh Fives
10.Kevin Moran
11.Pauric Mahony
12.Jake Dillon
13.Stephen Bennett
21.Maurice Shanahan
15.Thomas Ryan

The half forward line is slow, I think they have over achieved as a team.

But they won’t be lining out as a traditional 10, 11, 12 half forward line. Austin Gleeson will probably be centre forward as usual, Moran back to midfield, Mahony wing forward and Tommy Ryan out on the other wing with a 2-man full forward line of Shanahan and Dillon. Unless they abandon the spare defender tactic and come at us with something new.

I think Ryan is a decent operator. He has some pace. Wexford will give them loads of it.

Would it not be Dillon out to half-forward, leaving Ryan inside with Shanahan?

Wexford trained 29 times between Dec 5 and Jan 8, mate - they are way ahead of everyone.

Any chest injuries down there yet?

That’s very unlike a Davy Fitz team.

It’s the davy way.

Possibly, yeah.

Big Jake gave Daithi Burke as uncomfortable a 35 minutes as he had all season in the first half of the final last year so he can play inside either.

Dublin-Offaly just underway on eir sport 1.

Plenty of headless use of the ball from Dublin so far. Have the feeling it will be a long/short year for them. In full rebuilding mode and are a couple of years away from competing with Wexford and Galway.

Very much in the second tier with Kilkenny in Leinster

Who is the Dublin number 11?

That was a good reflex save by Nolan, Kelly maybe could have caught it slightly better but it was well-placed, instinctive- a very good stop.

Looking at this, I’m getting a bad feeling about our trip to Tullamore
