Cork is my favourite ground, followed closely by Kilkenny.
Limerick is nice for convenience and, on a nice day the open stand is lovely. Thurles is meh.
Portlaoise is my favourite small ground.

Tullamore, Carlow and Portlaoise are all lovely grounds. Mullingar is probably the most convenient of the lot but the pitch seems a bit on the small side.
Ballinasloe was a lovely little ground back when it was a thing.
Tullamore is the ideal neutral venue. Easy to get to, handy for parking, one of the better terraces in the country and you can always be guaranteed pig ignorant locals in O’Connor’s.
I can never understand the lack of grá for O’Connor Park in Tullamore. It’s central, ideally located for the fodder, spacious parking and a grand pitch. Hard please everyone but I like Fagan’s choices.
Naturally I have an affection for the 3/4 around us, the Hyde, Breffni Park and Clones all of which have unique features of their own. Clones should be compulsory visiting for all Gaels.
As long as hurling is being played there Boxty these venues are in.

Unexpected item in the bagging area
There’ll only be managers from those three counties in the last six as well.
They do smashing buns in the big room (?) under the main stand as well, or at least they did back in 2018 the last time I was there. Not sure if that’s a regular occurrence, but it was a welcome surprise of a half time treat.
It is. They always have a feed for visiting fans there in my experience
That was a cracking day weather wise. A bit cold but grand
I love Tullamore, all the people who help out or work there on match days are so nice and helpful. That team room under the stand with the chairs and tables is a brilliant facility.

There’s no need for this revision. @Locke and his cohorts are happy with KK languishing around 8th or lower.
God be with the days before A/I finals when they were in their pomp, they’d have them bate by 8 points and an injury list the unfortunate Ukrainians wouldn’t cope with. Where’s that 10 years gone!!!
