I actually think Clare will be v dangerous this year, have a proper free taker now in P Duggan, have a great midfield pairing in Kelly and Galvin and if they put McInerney back to full backā¦theyāll get out of Munster. oāDonnell, McGrath etc could do serious damage on hard ground. Draw suits them aswell to an extent.
Their downfall will be their full backline as a unit if its not addressed. Tipp have 4 starters to come back into it, Limerick arguably have 2/3.
As I said earlierā¦Cork and Waterford could be very very dangerous, Cork obviously have 4/5 top forwards on their dayā¦problems again though in the full back line. Waterford are more evenly balanced but their system would want to be upped bigtime and if Ozzie turns up he can win any game on his own.
I hadnāt realised until I had a proper look at the fixture list today that Limerick have Tipperary in the Gaelic Grounds first day out. Winner of that game is set up for the summer. Limerick will really fancy their chances and rightly so.
Now, now, Joseph, to get directly into a semi final Galway would have to beat Kilkenny twice, in the round robin and again in the Leinster final. Thatās a hard ask, considering Munsterās finest collapsed like a wet blanket when the Cats put on a bit of pressure yesterday.
Munster top 3: Tipp, Limerick, Clare
Leinster top 3: Galway, KK, Wexford
At this moment in time these are the top 3 in each province there is just too many question marks over Cork, Waterford, offaly and Dubs.
Cats will not win all Ireland. They beat a weaken tipp and wexford team in the group stages to stay up. Fair play to them for winning a league that it seems like nobody wanted to win.
Why isnāt it?? The bones of that Clare team are together 5 years and have won an AI and an 21 also.
Limerick are coming but have little to no experience ā¦ Iām surprised Wexford are so low but when you do 350 sessions in two months it takes a serious toll on youā¦ They were knackered against kk and could do with 6 months off .
