Hurling Qualifiers, July 4th

Continuing the discussion from Hurling Qualifiers, July 4th:

Yeha a mate of mine from Corofin in galway was telling me they had Fundamental fitness down lately, said they were top classā€¦ Really changed the way they looked at coaching younger peopleā€¦

What games have you been watching? Horgan hasnā€™t been a danger to other teams from play in 3 years.
Teams know how to mark him and cork have not developed him. Teams also know that if you stay disciplined you will restrict cork severely.

Not sure how Walsh is now a wing back again.

Hopefully TUM is right about Harnedy at ff. Well in fact I actually think he will be good, however itā€™s a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. Hopefully Pa Cronin aleviates that somewhat.

Feel sorry for Cahalane, heā€™s not a corner back and has been excellent for the Barrā€™s at centre back and midfield. He is not a corner man and itā€™s a real old school management decision to just get your best 15 out there whatever about positions.
The lads on the sideline must be fuming.

The fatal flaw is the last sentence. Our defensive lineup the last day is something Horgan would thrive in.

I should say good teams have identified it. Waterford were pretty disciplined and Horgan was completely periphial

Horgan to play out around half forward line - will Wexford man mark him there - if not he might get the space he needs

What I just realised is they now have Darren Mac as a sub keeper. Whatā€™s going on there?

I think no. 11 is his best spot. The helter skelter seems to wake him up to perform.

Cadogan is the guy inside Iā€™d be looking to to perform.

Collins is injured.

Wouldnā€™t rule out Dalton being carried Sunday. Word is he is on The radar. DMc may still be considered an outfield player.

If ye unearth a corner back and all forwards play to the best of their ability, better than 2013, ye might be good enough to be a few points short of tipp or kk

Luke Oā€™Farrell is not that kind of player.

Cork are lost

No his auld lad got an oscar in that spielberg film back in the day as a great white shark.

Wexford have every chance at home surely against the weakest set of Cork backs in 25-30 years.

Packed Cusack park

Gale force wind so anything is possible

It will be tomorrow.

Big crowd in already in Wexford Park.

Bando slap bang in the middle drooling over the young camogie playersā€¦ desperate stuff. No hope for the nephew at all.

Good stream here for Cork Wexford http://www.crichd.tv/sky-sports-1-live-stream.php
