I’d expect this kind of horseshit from Breheny or the like, but not from this site.

Nicky quaid is good. The rest are shit.

Quaid/Quads/Quail ISN’T a dexterous keeper.

A Tipp fella was in the news recently, he was fairly dexterous.

He’s having an off day today , even for him. Some absolutely abysmal attempted quips

All fucking morning he’s at it. Woeful shite.

Modern society is the reason and the rot that led to a lack of good goalkeepers set in with the Celtic Tiger.

I’d narrow it down to one, a mixture of, or both of the following two completely half-baked analyses:

i) Modern society is a sickening dog eat dog, winner take all, dystopian arena. If you’re not a winner then by god you’re a loser. Let’s face it, all goalkeepers end up as goalkeepers because they couldn’t hack it as an outfield player. But parents and society have trained our children to have sky high expectations. They all expect to be the star forward of the team. And when it turns out they’re shit and have no talent, they’d rather not play at all than play in goal. Some useful idiot whose heart isn’t in it eventually ends up in goal. Thus there is a lack of good goalkeepers.

ii) Modern society is a permissive sham where everybody has to be a winner and there are not allowed to be any losers. Thus the shit, untalented youngsters aren’t singled out, told they’re shit, and put in goal as they should be, and are instead allowed to harbour delusions of adequacy by being picked outfield due to nonsense modern PC notions of being nice to children of no talent, before quickly figuring out for themselves that they’re shit and giving up playing. Some useful idiot whose heart isn’t in it eventually ends up in goal. Thus there is a lack of good goalkeepers.
