- Nobody wants to play on goal but somebody has to and every 'keeper still thinks that he is good enough to play outfield so he doesn’t commit himself to learning the necessary unique skills required. He probably still plays outfield for the club and is therefore not practising the appropriate skills that his outfield compatriots do on a continuous basis. As time goes on he begins to really resent the position and actually plays shit intentionally to get some other mug in there while he can concentrate on his outfield aspirations.
