Did you go further than saying you won’t be attending “the match”??

From experience, a Connacht match and a rugby match are not necessarily the same thing. I was at sale sharks last weekend, am going to sale Munster corporate with dinner , bar etc at which ill be roaring on sale, and am looking forward to meeting my dad and my two bothers in gilbauds for lunch prior to the autumn international of November 22 weekend ( not sure who Ireland are playing). Not looking forward to any of them as much as I would to any game of hurling, or rugby league, but a lot more than I would to any epl soccer match. :):pint:

Nothing major mate.

Its casual day and they are all sitting around in their Connacht jerseys discussing their recent good form.

I just pointed out the a few of their so called heroes were clinically obese and it was the only ‘professional’ sport in the world where you would get away with it. Told them it wasn’t really a serious sport based on this fact… They mentioned that their ‘hooker’ can still ‘get around the pitch’ effectively… whatever the fcuk that meant.

cunts

Nah, twas kind of obvious.

It is quite telling that women feel able to talk in general conversation about The Ryder Cup and rugby

Both events masquerading as sport.
