It’s a fine request.

Unfortunately it’s not technically possible as things stand.

I could spend some time figuring out how to do it but I don’t have that time at the moment. I’m also not as proficient at these things as I’d like.

I’m inclined to think that if the same one or two posters are ruining the place for people then the problem is not the lack of the ignore function. But I don’t know if that’s the case or not.
