Im swimming with lads all day. i wouldnt have the bandwidth for it at night too
Drove up, and by christ I mean UP, to a place called Cilaos today. Real Road of Death, Bolivia vibes. Several timber bridges barely wide enough for my rented Yaris to get through. Hilarity at every encounter with a local bus (they seem to have a rule where if the bus has beeped, it automatically assumes right of way). A tunnel, again only wide enough for one, that seemed to be made out of mud. Several recent evidence of rockfalls.
Some of the mountain villages here seem right out of Nepal or Bhutan, until you see the big GENDARMARIE sign and boulangeries everywhere.
