Ó Riada’s?
One of the best in Ireland. Two of the best pubs in Ireland are within seconds of each other in Kilkenny.
The sad thing is that two other great pubs – Maggie Holland’s and the Marble City Bar – used to be a minute away. Were ‘modernized’. One is now an eating joint and the other is a horror.

Food operations are eroding the pub culture of Ireland. Will be interesting to see where it goes because people are starting to bawk a bit at what are restaurant prices.

Yes, agreed. Hargadon’s in Sligo is an example of a great pub eroded by food.

The food is the only thing making money. The vintners have fucked the night out, it is possible to marry a great pub and serve food, oconners and murphys in Brandon do it

Every place I drink in has it bar one so its a fact of life. Need to do something about the price of drink in a pub for sure.

Neither of the 2 pubs in the village have food but they’re dying on their arse. Midleton is thriving and gang are piling into mini buses of a drinking night and going in to the “super pubs”
They’ll be sorry of it when they cant get a pint coz of the carvery out here of a Sunday

Yep. Used to work nearby. We’d hit in there sometimes on a Thursday after work and have the best craic nights. Savage pints.
There’s a great bar just on the right when you come over the bridge from train side too.
Was also a fan of little Andys
