They did up a class outdoor area during Covid times
Hargaden’s was indeed a noble hostelry but I try, in so far as possible, to avoid these food/pub joints. They’re an abomination in fact.
The ideal pub would be bereft of food, jukeboxes, pool tables, dartboards, piped music and television sets.
An allowance could be made for a television the night of a General Election results count. Now for you!!!

One of the best pints of Ale in the city.
The Nore? Probably the best pint in town, full stop.
How much is a pint there now?
That one was €5.
Not so bad at all. They were always a bit pricey. I’ve never been in The Nore Bar. I’ll have to put it on my bucket list.
