Brussels or Bruge? I’m told Bruge is a great spot.
Bruges is a fabulous place. Beers, food, architecture, nice people, they don’t mind speaking English. Had a great weekend there.
The Beer Wall is great and there’s a nice boat tour to be had also.
I was surprised recently to find that the inoffensive lager style Jupiler is by far the best selling beer in Belgium, it has a massive share of the market

I was mixing them up there.
Belgium has thousands of their own beers. The Beer Wall celebrates them displaying the bottles, crests and each has their own glass. I wasn’t a fan of Juliper. I liked Hoegaarden, Duval, Westmalle and there was a sweet ruby beer with a devil or a jester on the label. There was so many. It was heavenly. I took on the challenge of sampling them alas I can’t recall them all as I was very very drunk.
