The boozers in Balkyshannon looked great, maybe because it was Saturday night
That spot there doesnât look at all inviting, I think Iâd turn around and walk out the door

I highly recommend McIntyreâs. Perhaps a little bright but tremendous atmosphere and great drink.
Finn McCools nicely quirky as well. The Thatch is rather bright but enjoyable.
Am told Patâs/The Commercial Bar is excellent as well â but closed at minute.
Shoot the Crows will be open at 5.
Connollyâs is Irish top ten, in my view. Just a quiet Sunday afternoon in November, as I wait for a train.
I intend to go for Sligo triple crown before train.
Connolly s is a noble establishment
Thanks. But too late for me.
Foleyâs and Hargadonâs on menu.
Two more decent spots
âNobleâ is the exact word.
One of the truly great swift pub crawls.
The exact opposite was my experience. Everyone very friendly.
Hope to go back next year. Dorrianâs Hotel a grand spot to stay as well.
Well worth a visit. Lots of festival weekends to choose from. William Allingham one fell this weekend.
Well through rose tinted grasses of Rory Gallagher weekend it was tops. 1 of tha lads been there since a few times and swears by it
Am going to Skerries in a few weeks for a jaunt to meet a couole of friends. Never there before and not a part of the world I know at all. Any lunch venue/pub recommendations?
Donât go to Stoop your head - worst service in the world, beyond useless. Think theyâre getting done up anyway
Blue bar and Potager are good. 5 Rock is middling. Good stout in Joe Mays
