A one handed six by Morgan - they’ll need him to see it through. Looks like taking pace off the ball and using spinners and medium pacers is yielding most success for the bowling sides in this tournament.
Same tactics England used alright and it’s been the same for most of the tournament. It’s the quick guys who are getting belted around the place.

He’s a class act. Some huge hitters in this tournament but he’s about so much more than power.
Wright should have left shots like that to Morgan. Needed to just keep on top of it and they’d plenty of time to win it. They don’t have that much depth that they can afford to lose Wright with a fair chunk of the game left.

Pakistan finished on 191-6 and Australia weren’t even that quick in responding to the big total. They were 67-4 after 10 overs 107-f after 13 overs. Cameron White had a good knock with 43 runs but Mike Hussey just exploded at the end, coming in at 7 and smashing 60 off 24 balls.
They needed 70 from 5 overs, 48 from 3 overs, 32 from 2 overs and 18 from the final over. Hussey hit some huge shots and even finished things off with a 6 once the scores went level.

That’s awesome. T20 finishes like that are great entertainment and can bring new fans to the game. Moggy will get his chance to shine on a big stage now on Sunday. Ashes tour this winter too - could lay down a marker.

This has the potential to be a cracking game later. Two teams in good form, both can chase big totals and both have huge hitters.
I’d have to fancy Australia because of their batting depth. Just think they can drop further down the order, like they had to in the semi-final, whereas England can’t afford to lose Morgan really. Wright can bat obviously but they start to run out of partners quicker than Australia.
As I sip my Bundaberg ginger beer (the taste of the outback), I’m confident that we have the better batting lineup and will take the title. Expecting a big score from young David Warner. England should be grateful that Adam Voges isn’t playing. Advance Australia fair.
