The vote was badly managed in Donegal but the republican vote remained at 36%.

Louth saw a huge gain. Monaghan returned COC without any fuss. Cavan showed itself to be vile free state quislings, they never really did anything for us during the troubles so it was arguably naive you expect a change there.

Cavan really belongs in Munster, it would fit in well with the likes of Kerry and Tipp with their worship of FF crooks like Sean Quinn.
