If forum members were film/tv characters who would they be?

Gola - Kevin Myers (American Pie)

Insignificant and whiny dweeb whose sole purpose is to suck the life out of anything remotely interesting.

Mr Totti- Rocky Dennis.

Improper analogy.

Good point, but I believe its spelt monocle.
(Eye doctor told me the other month I might eventually have to have an eye patch as the dodgy eye might have to come out!)

What happened it Fitzy?

I lost the sight in it about 5 years ago as a result of a Rubeotic Glaucoma, which was in turn the result of a medical condition called Fuchs Heterochromic Cyclitis (I’m not making that up). Happened pretty much overnight, led to a load of painful eye laser surgery (ever had a needle in your eye? Not much fun). I barely notice it now really, I’m not great in crowds though, I bump into people sometimes, which they find annoying. Though that could also be a result of my personality.

At least it was the hetero version you got anyways

Fuck, that’s rough man. Was the condition just completely random or were there some factors that led to it?

A future picture of Rintintin and family.

Its purely random basically. It affects one eye and breaks down the pigmentation in it, so because I have beautiful light blue eyes (down tiger) no one would have noticed any difference in colour between the two eyes. It leads to glaucoma and cataracts if untreated, which is a high percentage because the vast majority of people with it are never diagnosed. Just one of those things really. I look bloody stupid in photos though, as they tend to heighten the distinct difference in my eyes now.
