We’re sick of looking at Robert’s Cove at this stage. He needs to go further west. Although the less he’s seen around Skull, is probably for the better.

I spend hours there watching the birds of prey
U can get hawks and buzzards in tbe same field

Looks like a grand spot.

I walked every inch of Cratloe woods myself until the knees gave out.
So enjoy it while you can.

I was having a look there now.
Can you walk both sides of the cove or does the caravan park get in the way.
Doesn’t seem to be many places to park either. Usual story…

I’m opposite the park
And yes to a degree u can walk to the cliffs on the caravan side
But most ppl only use it to access fishing spots ( climb down the cliff)

I’m
In a hill walking club
So all ok ATM
Done most of the mountains in Ireland
Treadmill and stepper minimum 5 days a week
Plus walking so the fitness is fine,
The knees grand but one wasn’t until I went back to the gym years back
So I strengthened the bastards to a serious degree
Hoping against hope they’ll last,
If I couldn’t hike, walk, swim I’d be a devil

Saw this v unusual rare rainbow

in 2024 up a mountain in Kerry
Came and went in seconds,
Came back again and luckily enough I snapped it,
Was with a group of 16/18 experienced climbers/ hill walkers
Only one of them spotted one 20 odd years back

There are signs of Mozart everywhere. He’s the number one tourist draw here. I had my lunch sitting outside on Mozartplatz today. On a previous visit to this beautiful town I visited the Mozartgeburtshaus.
