You local? Were you down at the solstice party? Mrs J was there… (at a separate smaller affair)…

Not from Portmarnock originally but living here over 20 years. I’d be somewhat friendly with the organiser of the main one but I didn’t head over today.

Hard to tell if it’s the exact same spot with the changing weather conditions!

Trail run this morning up to woods that start up the road from us. Half way into the clouds after a couple of km. No thawing at all. Eerily quiet.

Family stroll along the beach and woods by it in the afternoon. Absolutely glorious. If lockdown means seeing more of this every day I’ll be happy enough. Tis good for the soul

First run of 2021. Trail and a bit of mountain. Slow pace as there were some new bits to explore and was taking care with some icy patches

FAO @TreatyStones. The first picture is from a point that I ran to a few weeks ago. The fog was so thick that I turned around and went back a route I knew. I’m no expert but if I’m on my own and can’t see a route 10 metres ahead, I stick to what I know! Knew there was a clear open day today but was very surprised with what was below. Didn’t expect such a clear track, presumed I was going to be coming down some mountain side with a small sheep trail to follow.
