Im a workaholic thread

Ah this work lark is silly. Iā€™d do about 25 to 30 hours per week. I simply managed my time and finances that little bit better as I grew older and copped myself on. If I was back again Iā€™d have worked less and spent less. All the young lads on here should sit back and reflect in things like that. Itā€™s the same thanks youā€™ll get at the end of the day.

All ye are is a bunch of FTEs.

Being an FTE was a great way to settle the ship after the bust mateā€¦ the novelty is well worn off now though as Ireland approachs liftoff yet again. :pint:

Working all day for a mean little man
With a clip on tie and a rub on tan
He got me running round the office like a dog around a track
When I get back home
Youā€™re always there to rub my back

Iā€™ve got this dream about buying some land,
gonna give up the booze and the one night stands,
and finally settle down in a quiet little town
and forget about everythingā€¦

He still drives a car
And smokes a cigar
And still he takes his family on a cruise
Heā€™ll never lose

In the top ten of my favourite ever songs sums it up better, though slightly off topic.

The fire inside.

Thereā€™s a hard moon risinā€™ on the streets tonight
Thereā€™s a reckless feeling in your heart as you head out tonight
Through the concrete canyons to the midtown light
Where the latest neon promises are burning bright
Past the open windows on the darker streets
Where unseen angry voices flash and children cry
Past the phony posers with their worn out lines
The tired new money dressed to the nines
The low life dealers with their bad designs
And the dilettantes with their open minds
Youā€™re out on the town, safe in the crowd
Ready to go for the ride
Searching the eyes, looking for clues
Thereā€™s no way you can hide
The fire inside
Well youā€™ve been to the clubs and the discotheques
Where they deal one another from the bottom of a deck of promises
Where the cautious loners and emotional wrecks
Do an acting stretch as a way to hide the obvious
And the lights go down and they dance real close
And for one brief instant they pretend theyā€™re safe and warm
Then the beat gets louder and the mood is gone
The darkness scatters as the lights flash on
They hold one another just a little too long
And they move apart and then move on
On to the street, on to the next
Safe in the knowledge that they tried
Faking the smile, hiding the pain
Never satisfied
The fire inside
Fire inside
Now the hour is late and he thinks youā€™re asleep
You listen to him dress and you listen to him leave
like you knew he would
You hear his car pull away in the street
Then you move to the door and you lock it when
heā€™s gone for good
Then you walk to the window and stare at the moon
Riding high and lonesome through a starlit sky
And it comes to you how it all slips away
Youth and beauty are gone one day
No matter what you dream or feel or say
It ends in dust and disarray
Like wind on the plains, sand through the glass
Waves rolling in with the tide
Dreams die hard and we watch them erode
But we cannot be denied
The fire inside

yes, yes i do

The best of luck to you @mickee321

Is it the power you covet? or is it purely a financial thing?

ASIDE : Garlic soaked over night in water and snort it the next morning. No more sinus infections.

You sick fuck

:open_mouth:

What the fuck? Do you chop it up and snort it? Or just jam the whole clove up there?

You strain it using tea strainer or the likes.

I havenā€™t taken an antibiotic in nearly 10 years, a few weeks back I thought id have to resort to them but I did some frantic searching on the internet and this was suggested. 2 rinses a day and after 2 days the infection had vanished.

Which is more likely that you shoving Garlic up your nose fixed it or that it passed naturally after a few days?

Power, i am loaded already

have my 5th sinus op since 2004 coming up in July, this is not as big as my modified lothrops procedure in 2010 but still needed
ill give the garlic a shot

I had it for 6 weeks mate, this was no coincidence.

In fairness, snorting the garlic juice is not for the faint hearted. You need to sit down for 15 minutes after it
