If work was in bed, theyâd sleep on the floor.

I did initially and that was the reason for going into it. I donât think it will but it could turn into a nice little side earner based on a couple of hours per month rather than per day.
Donât give up on the dream mate. Think big.

Better off developing some kind of vagarious enterprise in the sticks, while hauling in European funding, Dole, Grants, Headage payments, Cross-Border funding, Enterprise Ireland grants, County Enterprise advances based on âprojectionsâ etcâŚ
Some of you lads, for allegedly smart blokes, are wasting your time. Others can spend their days fishing, shooting or rambling to their heartâs content as the money rolls in.
The entire process is truly convoluted, takes time to implement, via various bodies, but itâs there.
Legend!
I use to not burst myself workwise when I started down my career route.
I soon then realised that nobody owed me a living and I had to cop to fuck on.
I still rarely work late as thankfully my firm does not have much of a belief in such practices.
for the first few month yeah, but our creche is 7am - 7pm so they take him off my hands anyway âŚ
she picks him up, bath, bottle bed⌠thatâs it thank god

The amount of old country famers with a few acres living off the Headage is unreal.
Sell pricks of cattle in the mart, completely under nourished as they prefer to drink the cheque.
A story is told of the wife of one such farmer walking out the lane to stop the postman when she knew that the cheque would be coming. Otherwise himself would get it, drink it and she needed to feed the family.

A farmer with 80 acres and a decent head for money on him with a bit of discipline on the drink front could have raised a family and had a great lifestyle in the 70s, 80s and early 90s.
Today, inflation has eaten into that headage and its on average 30% down since 2007 on top of that. Heâd need 5 times the land to bring the same income.
you work all day for some old man,
You sweat and break your back,
You come home to your castle,
And your queen wonât cut you slack

You were well advised not to marry a Tipp woman, you can have no complaints.

Its only because of TFK that Iâm a workaholic, Iâd probably have had a mental breakdown by now if I wasnât able to vent online to random strangers.
a bit less introspective there hook nose, your online bullying of me & the fact that you use me as an online punchbag may allow you to âventâ but its fuckin horrible to be at the end of
Day by day
Thereâs a man in a suit
Whoâs gonna make you pay
For the thoughts that you think
And the words they wonât let you say
And @Brimmer Bradley⌠The Florence nightingale of the Internet in general.
Heâll eventually grow tired of you before moving onto his next target just like he did with me, pal. Keep the head up until then.
One fine day
Iâm going to leave it all behind
Wouldnât be so bad
If I had more time
im at breaking point here bro.
Talk it over with some real life friends, bud. Thatâs what got me through it. Remember he is bullying you because of his own insecurity and self-loathing. You did nothing wrong. Youâre the victim here.
thanks HB mate, I appreciate your council on this issue and all the other issues over the past few years
