In The Courts

Are we still pretending it was a ‘far roysh’ coordinated event, or simply Dublin’s scum underclass seizing an opportunity to live their best life.

Some great lines in that report. But also, godhelpus. She’s had a tough life. Hopefully she gets something positive out of prison.

If she’s an addict as described then she obviously wasn’t in her right frame of mind that night or potentially for years previously,
Sentence may seem harsh to some but as a late family member was a drug addict if he got 6 years imprisonment he may v well be alive today ,
Time inside bay help her to actually get recovered to some semblance of a normal life,
Im not making any excuses for whatever she did or what my family member did whilst alive ( robbing, fraud, having sex for money in public with another male etc etc .
List goes on)
But if any good comes out of that night in Dublin may it be her.

Contrast her sentence with what the ballymaloe paedophile got. Larry Murphy only got six more years. This is just an arrogant and obstreperous beak punching down on a homeless lady, not for lighting a bit of cardboard throwing it on a bus, but for having the temerity to disrespect her. It is all kinds of wrong.
Hopefully she may get something from it, but it’s , let’s face it, unlikely.
This is wrong. If six months doesn’t work, six years won’t. Six years. She will have had a horrible childhood.

You must be the world leader in comparing incomparable sentences. Yer man who lit the luas on fire only got three years. Surely you should get more for a luas than a bus.

Ah piss off. 66 previous convictions.
Spare me the tears. I’m sure she’ll meet plenty of friends and acquaintances inside to keep her company though

None of them her fault though.

Well there’s a fair chance these cunts will get a lighter sentence than the homeless woman setting the bus on fire

Hope he gets as much and more back at him in jail.

GardaĂ called to the house that day and found it extraordinarily neat and tidy, which they said in itself was a cause of concern in a household of six children

True enough.
