Just reading the court report there, Brendan Grehan SC indicated that Brendan was willing to do community service if that helped. Surely that was the common sense approach and the community would be the big winner.

I heard a reference there to him paying the money back before the Garda investigation.
Was it the case that BOI twigged it, confronted him and he offered to pay it back?
It wouldnât seem right to house Mullin on a wing, maybe sticking him in the DĂłchas Centre could be an apt compromise.

Yeah, itâs something like that. The money was repaid a while back but itâs taken them years to bring it to court.
If there was only a bogger to take the fall for Brendan.
