Don’t know really. I think they blame them for everything. When we were in the hotel in Islamabad that got blown up a few years back, for instance, I asked a local who was responsible.

My Indian colleagues say India could wipe out Pakistan in a few days. They’d be concerned about the economy though. It’s booming at the moment and would take years to get back to where it is now.
They couldn’t because Pakistan have nuclear weapons.
Any chance this spills over to blighty on the streets?
Hard to know. Always a chance but I’d say not at this stage.

The curry mile in Rusholm will be the litmus test.
A lot of the Indian chefs are Pakistani. In general they’d be a good mix there and they’d get on.
The last few years they were saying that conflict was all handbags but it seems to have kicked off now alright.
I could be wrong here. But I vaguely remember a few years ago after somebody got shot. Both army’s started patrolling the same trails but at different times, with no ammo in their guns for fear of a confrontation that neither wanted.
I was there years ago and good few restaurants had Pakistan flags outside. You’d get a quare look from them if you were headed into an Indian establishment instead of theirs(might be imagined)
That’s actually largely Bangladeshi these days.

The Indians have launched attacks on multiple Pakistani air bases. Reports they’ve also sent warships with Supersonic cruise missles to the region.
I was out for an evening constitutional earlier.
An Indian gent of middle age was listening to his phone on loud without earphones. It was a panel discussion on the situation. The speaker made the point that Modi is in position because he is the one that would go fight Pakistan.
