Insolvency

I can’t raise the ire to point out the two glaring flaws here, but why don’t you show me where I suggested giving out home addresses?
The richest man I know has left a string of insolvencies behind him.

He objected to the term “ape”

He did seem upset by that alright. But they are apes.

And he’ll fit right in

You seem aggrieved by my reluctance to hand out the address of a family home to the apes who demanded it. Please explain how this would help them in their unfortunate circumstances.

Non-apes (those who don’t wish to resort to a lynch mob) have been assisted as helpfully as possible. Indeed, they are more than likely to recover their debts. How strange is that?

Sigh.
I’ll try and spell it out gently.
These are workmen that your company entered into a binding contract with to pay for their materials, time, labour and expertise. They clearly weren’t “apes” then. These men/women will have taken on debts, and have obligations. They will have costs, overheads, bills, mortgages and dependents. They will have budgeted for getting paid fairly for this. Many may now be in major trouble. You are clearly the point of contact for them with the company. You don’t know their circumstances, their obligations, or their individual financial stresses, some of which will be vast on a personal level. It’s not so easy to be philosophical when your familys dinner money is on the table, or that of those who depend on you.
I never suggested giving out addresses, however, it’s you calling these lads “apes” from behind your printer on an anonymous Internet forum who is completely out of order. You show clear disdain for people your company may have put under severe and undeserved stress.
That is all.

Emotions running high here. Companys go bang everyday, in most cases its certainly nothing to be ashamed of and it seems this is the case here according to the facts @Loko_Cove has provided. Also, no evidence to say the company dont give a flying fuck where ever you pulled that one from.
Settle down.
If subbies are threatening to visit peoples homes then he is right to hang up, he should also call the police if it continues.

Reread his original statement.

Yes, they 100% are apes of the lowest common denominator for demanding the address of a family home to “resolve” the matter.

Are you condoning their intended actions? If so, you are also an ape.

A threat in the heat of the moment - we’ve all been there and we’d all be the same if we were shafted… How much are some of these guys gonna miss out on?

Peanuts.

Peanuts for apes.

I don’t believe they’re looking to lynch my family.

But great input nonetheless.

Some amount of retrenchment going on here.

So you have empathy for your bosses family but zero for the subbies families.

Retrench the cunts and then backfill over them

No. I’ve been tremendously empathetic to the subbies who have dealt with the news in a mature and rational manner.

I hung up on those wishing to form a lynch mob.
