One of Jeremy Corbynās socialist paradises ticking along swimmingly at present. Inflation is only at 800% and they only have to beat and kill their own citizens on the street and supress the opposition to ensure compliance. Itās not as if they have enough natural resources to run a decent country. Free stuff for everyone, utopia.

Iāve asked the question here before of our leftist colleagues to give an example of a country that converted itās economic model from capitalism to socialism and had a good outcome. Still waiting.
Venezuelaās economic collapse can be traced directly to the firing of 18,000 oil industry employees in 2003 by the lunatic Chavez, for daring to oppose him. The firing included 80% of the staff at the research arm of the state owned oil corporation, PDVSA. A most excellent example of shooting both feet off. The oil industry has never recovered in Venezuela since, but is booming in Columbia where many of the fired professionals ended up.

Iām pretty sure the 24% unemployed among the young population in France would disagree with you, as higher average wages for the employed donāt really help them.
